Lawton Redman (born June 14, 1976 in Middlebury ) is a former American biathlete .

Redman went off the 2000/01 season in the Biathlon World Cup at the start. That season, however, a 53rd place in the sprint of Lake Placid remained his best place, in which he only had one shooting error. He also took part in the 2001 Biathlon World Championships , where he was 63rd in the individual and 88th in the sprint. In the following 2001/02 season , Redman did not start again in the World Cup, but only in the Olympic Games , which were also counted as part of the World Cup. Because of this, he was able to improve his best World Cup placement by one rank by finishing 52nd in the Olympic pursuit in Salt Lake City . At the Olympic biathlon competitions in his home country, he also achieved three of his best five World Cup placements. In addition to winter competitions, Redman also competed in summer biathlon races . At the World Championships in 2000 in Khanty-Mansiysk , he achieved fifth place in the individual, ninth in the pursuit and seventh with the relay with an Indrek Tobreluts victory.

After the Olympic Games, the sports soldier Redman no longer competed in international biathlon competitions. Instead, he became a trainer in the Iraqi army.
