Le Bosc-Roger-en-Roumois is a town and commune Déléguée in the French community Bosroumois with 3,261 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Eure in the region of Normandy . Le Bosc-Roger-en-Roumois is a district of the municipality of Bosroumois.

history

In 1204 Philip II (France) conquered Normandy from Johann Ohneland together with the mercenary Lambert Cadoc . The king thanked his mercenary by bequeathing him many goods, including an important fortress in Bosc-Roger.

The municipality of Le Bosc-Roger-en-Roumois merged with Bosnormand to form the new municipality of Bosroumois on January 1, 2017 . It belonged to the Arrondissement of Bernay and the Canton of Bourgtheroulde-Infreville .
