Band history

The song became a radio hit and eventually reached the top of the Italian single charts. The debut album Le Vibrazioni and a tour followed. With the song In una notte d'estate , the band also took part in the Festivalbar competition this year . At the Italian Music Awards she was named “Discovery of the Year” and “Best Band”. In 2004 the video album Live all'Alcatraz followed .

With Raggio di sole , the band launched their second album Le Vibrazioni II in 2005 , which was released after participating in the Sanremo Festival for the first time, where their contribution Ovunque andrò took second place in the band's ranking. Then Le Vibrazioni was responsible for the music of the musical Tre metri sopra il cielo (Three meters above the sky) based on the novel by Federico Moccia . In 2006, the third album, Officine meccaniche , was released, which was initially only released via the new Nokia 5300 XpressMusic .

After bassist Marco Castellani left the band, the live album En vivo was released in 2008 . Emanuele Gardossi joined the group as the new bass player, while producer Marco Trentacoste joined the group as a live guitarist. In 2009 the band returned with the single Respiro , which preceded the album Le strade del tempo , which was released in early 2010. On the occasion of the World Cup , she also released the song Invocazioni al cielo , which was used by Sky Sport to broadcast the games. With the compilation Come far nascere un fiore , Le Vibrazioni ended her record deal with Sony in 2011 .

In 2012 Castellani returned for a few concerts, after which the band paused for an initially indefinite period. In 2017, their participation in the Sanremo Festival 2018 was finally announced. There they reached with the song Così sbagliato eleventh place, after the album was released V . More singles and intensive live activities followed. At the Sanremo Festival 2020 , the band entered the race again with the title Dov'è and reached fourth place.
