The Ledhujka , also Ledhuje , is a left tributary of the Metuje in the Czech Republic .

course

The Ledhujka rises north of the village Slavný on Ovčín in Falk mountains in the area of the National Nature Reserve (NPP) Policke stěny . On its not always water-bearing upper course, the stream initially plunges southwest through the Liščí rokle gorge and then flows west through the Hruškova rokle gorge . On the right-hand side of the border of the nature reserve, a brook that forms in the Hájkova rokle gorge flows into the Suchodolská Niagára waterfall in two stages, 2 and 3.5 m high, just before the mouth .

The villages Suchý Důl , Ochoz, Velká Ledhuje and the town of Police nad Metují extend along the middle course of the brook, which leads west into the Polická pánev ( Politzer Basin ) . Then the stream flows in a notch valley between Radešov and Zděřina through to the southwest and flows into the Metuje at the former bridge mill near Petrovice .

The Ledhujka has a length of 6.9 km; the mean flow rate at the mouth is 0.29 m³ / s. The stream has no noteworthy tributaries.
