Lee Evans (comedian)
Lee Evans (born February 25, 1964 in Bristol , England ) is a British comedian and actor.
Life
Lee Evans' father was also an entertainer . As he was constantly on the move, Evans had to change schools frequently as a child. Evans married when she was 20 years old. In 1988 he first appeared at the Edinburgh Festival . He became known for his energetic live performances. He later worked in musicals and films, and he was the namesake of a comedy series that was also broadcast on ARD in 2003 . For his role in the movie Funny Bones , he was in 1995 at the Paris Film Festival as Best Actor award.
Evans broke the world record for the single comedian with the largest live audience in 2005 by filling a hall in Manchester with more than 10,000 spectators. This record was exceeded in May 2008 with 15,900 viewers by the American comedian Chris Rock and on July 12, 2008 with 70,000 viewers by the German comedian Mario Barth .
