Lee Jung-hyun (* 7. February 1980 in Gimje, South Korea ) is a K-pop - singer and actress .
Life
Lee Jung-hyun made her film debut at 16 in Kkochip ( ip , "petal").
Before releasing her own solo music, she was a guest singer on Cho PD's single Fever and appeared in the accompanying music video.
Her own early music is techno-style dance music . Her first single, Wa ( 와 , “Come”) topped the South Korean charts for three weeks, while her third, Bakkwo ( 바꿔 , “change”) won awards for best and most broadcast song.
With their fifth album, Passion , she changed her style of music in Latin , including acoustic guitar and tap dance in flamenco style .
Many of her songs are sung in an angry emotional state from the point of view of a rejected lover.
Chinese singer Sammi Cheng sang remakes of many of her songs, including: B. Bakkwo (as Mei Fei Se Wu in Mandarin and Sat For - Finale in Cantonese ), Wa (as Duk Ga See Chung - Exclusive Trial Singing ) and Neo ( 너 , Du, under the title Tian Yi Wu Feng ). These new editions have their own (untranslated) texts, sung in Mandarin or Cantonese.
Gu Dan Ba Lei ( 孤單芭蕾 , “Lonely Ballet”) by Evonne Hsu ( 許慧欣 ) is a cover by Lee Jung-hyun's Michyeo ( 미쳐 , “Crazy”) and HONEY by Cyndi Wang ( 王心凌 ) is another cover version by Lee Jung -hyuns summer dance .
In December 2004, Lee Jung-hyun also released Japanese versions of their early hits Wa and Heaven . In 2006, their first Japanese album followed with the name THIS IS HYONY .
In 2011 she starred in Park Chan-wook's short film Night Fishing . Park also directed her 2013 music video for the song "V".
Lee married in 2019.
