Lee Min-ho (born June 22, 1987 in Dongjak-gu , Seoul , South Korea ) is a South Korean singer , actor and model . He began his career in 2006 with smaller roles in television series and achieved his first breakthrough in 2009 with the successful drama Boys Over Flowers .

Life

With the help of an acquaintance, he joined Starhaus Entertainment drama school during his senior year in high school . After his training he got smaller roles in several television films . His breakthrough came with the lead role of Gu Jun-Pyo in the KBS2 drama Boys over Flowers .
