Lee Minkler is an American sound engineer and sound engineer .

Life

Minkler came from a family of sound engineers that included his brother Bob and his nephew Michael . Lee Minkler began his career on the film staff in 1974 with television, where he worked on the Bob Newhart Show , among other things . His feature film debut was Herb Freed's 1980 horror film Beyond Evil . By the mid-1980s, he worked on a number of film productions including Tron and Jaws 3-D .
