Eleftherios Matsoukas ( Greek Ελευθέριος Ματσούκας , born March 7, 1990 in Athens ) is a Greek football player .

Career

He began his football career with Olympiacos . In July 2007, at the age of 17, he signed a professional contract there. There he won the Greek Supercup . After only one game, he finally moved to Ethnikos Asteras from the Greek second division in August 2008 . He also scored a goal in eleven games for the club. After five months, he returned to Piraeus in January 2009. In February he then moved to Germany for Werder Bremen's U-19 junior team.

For the U-19s he was on the field 14 times in the second half of the season. He scored three goals and made two assists. In July he won the German North / East Championship with Werder Bremen's U-19s. In the new season he was promoted to Bremen's second team. In the first half of the season he was used 3 times. His contract was not renewed in the summer of 2010. He then played for various Greek second division clubs. He was promoted to the Super League in 2017 with the PAS Lamia , but after switching to Doxa Dramas , Matsoukas continued to play in the second-rate Football League . In winter 2019 he joined the Serbian first division club FK Dinamo Vranje .

National team

Matsoukas was a U-19 national player for Greece and was in the squad for the U-19 European Football Championship in 2008 .
