Leif Brandt

Leif Brandt (born June 3, 1991 ) is a German handball player .

Life

In the D-Jugend Brandt played at ATS Bexhövede . From the C-youth he started for the youth team of SC Magdeburg . In his youth he was North German champion and German runner-up. In 2008 Brandt was world champion student in Ikast, Denmark . For the second team of SC Magdeburg he played for a year in the second division until he suffered a cruciate ligament tear. He later ran for HG 85 Koethen and then from 2012 for third division club OHV Aurich . In 2015, due to his studies in Bremen , he moved to the upper division SV Grambke - Oslebshausen . He moved to Loxstedt . He turned down offers from third division clubs. In 2017 he started again for the OHV Aurich.

In 2008, Brandt was allowed to enter the Golden Book of the City of Magdeburg in recognition of his sporting success as a school world champion.
