Conductive tissue

In botany , conductive tissue is the term used to describe the xylem and phloem tissues responsible for transporting water, nutrients and assimilates in the plant .

The vascular tissue is found in roots , shoot axes and leaves and is organized there in so-called vascular bundles . There it is often surrounded by sclerenchyma and endodermis tissue. The conductive tissue is also used by pathogens such as viruses or bacteria to spread in the plant.

The flow of juice in the tracks creates a noise.
