Lenßen live - The cult attorney on the phone (title until 2019 Len§en Live - The Law-Speaking Hour ) is a television program on the German television station Sat.1 Gold , which is dedicated to legal counseling. The irregular live broadcast is presented by lawyer Ingo Lenßen . The format started on October 29, 2015.
scope
The first season of the show consisted of seven episodes and was broadcast from October to December 2015. This season also included a 15-minute version of the program, which was broadcast on the Sat.1 Gold homepage after the TV broadcast had ended. The second season, also comprising seven episodes, ran from April to June 2016. The third season ran from February 2017 to March 30, 2017 and consisted of six episodes. A 4th season was broadcast in 7 episodes from October 26, 2017 to December 7, 2017. The 5th season showed Sat 1 Gold from May 17, 2018 to June 14, 2018 in 6 episodes and the sixth season in 5 episodes from September 13, 2018 to October 11, 2018. A 7th season starts on June 19, 2019 Broadcasting of a best-of episode of all seasons and the first live show on June 26, 2019 under the new title Lenßen live - Der Kultanwalt am Telefon . With the start of the 7th season, the studio design with a brick look was also adapted in the direction of a late night show. An 8th season was officially announced for 2020 at the end of the last episode and via Twitter.

TV viewers from Germany can register for a live conversation with Ingo Lenßen free of charge by phone or email.
Ingo Lenßen has an unlimited period of time to answer the calls of the callers for all regular consultations. In the so-called "quick advice rounds" there are brief consultations in which Lenßen advises the caller within three minutes. In the first seasons of the show, so-called "service islands" were part of the show, in which the lawyer took on certain topics. Lenßen also repeatedly addresses current cases from the media. Since the 3rd season, these have also been put up for discussion by means of online voting on Facebook and Twitter, which will be discussed in the next live broadcast.

The first broadcast in October 2015 was followed by 0.29 million viewers. That corresponded to a market share of 1.4 percent. The latest episodes of the 7th season in 2019 achieved top ratings for Sat.1 Gold - in July one episode of the live call-in-show achieved a market share of up to 1.8 percent among the 14 to 49-year-old target group .
The twelfth edition was seen by 0.32 million viewers and made it into the top trending on Twitter . Since then, the format has regularly made the respectable leap into the top German trends on the special-interest channel with around 3,000 tweets per episode under the hashtag #Lenssen. In response to the great approval on the social web, viewers are increasingly involved in the program. Tweets are read out and surveys on legal issues are made via Twitter and Facebook . Kevin Körber has been a permanent sidekick on "Lenßen live" since season 6 in 2018 . Körber presents the live reactions from Twitter to the stories of the callers and interacts with Ingo Lenßen in short dialogues between the callers. Since the 6th season, switching to the editorial team has also been part of every issue. There Ingo Lenßen communicates with his editor-in-chief Andi and the editors who take the calls during the broadcast.

- Since November 25, 2015 Lenßen has been trying to help the caller Damla from Munich. She suffers from back pain caused by her breasts that are too large and wants a breast reduction. The health insurance has refused to cover the costs.
