Lena Zagst

Lena Elleander Zagst (born December 15, 1990 in Regensburg ) is a German politician of the Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen party and has been a member of the Hamburg Parliament since 2020 .

Life

From 2009 to 2014, Zagst studied law at Bucerius Law School and Willamette University College of Law . She completed her legal clerkship from 2015 to 2017 in Hamburg . Since 2017 she has been a research assistant at the professorship for public law, in particular international law and European law ( Sigrid Boysen ) at the Helmut Schmidt University and is doing her doctorate in international law.

politics

In May 2019 she was elected to the Hamburg-Mitte district assembly, where she is chairman of the district parliamentary group. On February 23, 2020, she succeeded in entering the Hamburg parliament as a member of the Hamburg parliament . As a constituency member, she represents the Hamburg-Mitte constituency there .
