Leni Speidel

Leni Speidel (born June 16, 1985 in Reutlingen ) is a German actress .

Life

Leni Speidel grew up in Reutlingen. She did her Abitur at the Johannes Kepler Gymnasium. She completed her studies in PR & Communication Manager with a Bachelor of Arts . She was discovered as an actress by the Chinese director Scud at the 2010 Berlinale . She then trained as an actress at the Cours Eva Saint-Paul in Paris . She plays roles in national and international productions in German, Spanish, French and English.

She got her first leading role in the drama Voyage by Scud. Since then she has played roles in films by Margarethe von Trotta , Wolfgang Groos , Adrian Goiginger and other well-known directors. In 2017 she shot with Carmen Maura in the film Oh! Mammy Blue in Madrid. In 2018 Leni Speidel received the award for Best Supporting Actress for the drama Robin - Watch for Wishes at the Queen Palm International Film Festival. In the same year she shot the action film The Last Bull with actor Henning Baum , directed by successful director Peter Thorwarth . In 2019 she stood for the first time with Hollywood greats like Kellan Lutz (Twilight, The Expendables) and Torrey DeVitto (Pretty Little Liars) in front of the camera.
