Lennart Bevers (born July 10, 1993 in Bocholt ) is a German volleyball and beach volleyball player .
Career hall
Bevers began playing volleyball indoors in 2003 at his home gymnastics and ball game club . As an outside attacker and libero, he was several times West German champion in the youth field. With the Bocholter B-Jugend, Bevers won the German championship in 2010.
In 2011 Bevers moved to the volleyball Bundesliga to the RWE Volleys Bottrop . After relegation to the second division in 2012, he was immediately promoted to the first division again in 2013. In December 2013, the RWE Volleys Bottrop was revoked the Bundesliga license, which is why Bevers returned to the second division club TuB Bocholt . In 2015 he moved to TSG Solingen Volleys . With the club, he was promoted to the Bundesliga in 2016. In 2017 Bevers returned to the TuB Bocholt.
Career Beach
Bevers also celebrated numerous West German championships in the junior area in beach volleyball . In 2010 he became German U18 and German U19 champions. Bevers was subsequently nominated for the German national team and took part in the U19 Beach Volleyball World Cup in Croatia in 2011 with David Poniewaz . At the German U19 championship in 2011, he reached the final with his partner Edgar Witt from USC Münster and was runner-up. At the U20-DM 2012, Bevers and his partner Lars Geukes became German champions again.
Bevers / Geukes have been competing regularly at national tournaments since 2015. In 2018 they had several top ten placements on the Techniker Beach Tour and thus qualified for the German championship in Timmendorfer Strand . Bevers / Geukes will start again on the Techniker Beach Tour in 2019 .
