Career

Like Rodney Wilkes , he could not start at world championships because the Weightlifting Association of Trinidad did not have the financial means to send its athletes on the long journeys to Europe . He ended his active career after the Olympic Games in 1956 and then lived in Trinidad as a fitness trainer.
