Leo Adamek

Leo Adamek (born September 23, 1914 in Berlin ; † April 17, 2000 there ) was a German politician ( CDU ). He was a member of the Berlin House of Representatives from 1959 to 1963 and 1967 to 1971 .

After attending primary school, he learned typesetter. In 1933 he joined the Windthorst Association . From 1935 to 1937 and from 1939 to 1945 he did military service. As a sergeant major , he returned from the Second World War seriously injured . He got a job as telecommunications secretary at the Landespostdirektion Berlin . From 1948 to 1958 and from 1963 he was a district councilor for the Neukölln district for the CDU .

His grave is in the New St. Michael Cemetery in Berlin-Tempelhof .
