Leo Herzberg-Frankel
Leo Herzberg-Fränkel (born September 19, 1827 in Brody , Eastern Galicia , † June 5, 1915 in Teplice , Bohemia ) was an Austrian writer and journalist. Among other things, he was the political correspondent of the New Free Press and from 1852 to 1896 secretary of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Brody. Herzberg-Fränkel was the father of Sigmund Herzberg-Fränkel (1857–1913), who between 1893 and his death was professor of general history at the Franz Joseph University in Czernowitz .
