Leo Joseph Brust (born January 7, 1916 in St. Francis , Wisconsin , USA ; † January 31, 1995 ) was auxiliary bishop in Milwaukee .

Life

Leo Joseph breast received on 30 May 1942, the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On August 22, 1969, Pope Paul VI appointed him . the titular bishop of Suelli and ordered him auxiliary bishop in Milwaukee. The Archbishop of Milwaukee, William Edward Cousins , donated him episcopal ordination on October 16 of that year ; Co- consecrators were the Bishop of Gallup , Jerome Joseph Hastrich , and the Auxiliary Bishop of Green Bay , John Benjamin Grellinger .

On April 16, 1991 Pope John Paul II accepted Leo Joseph Brust's request for resignation for reasons of age.
