Leo Kohlbauer

Leo Kohlbauer (born January 9, 1987 in Korneuburg ) is an Austrian politician of the Freedom Party of Austria (FPÖ). Since November 2017 he has been a member of the Vienna State Parliament and a member of the Vienna City Council .

Life

education and profession

Leo Kohlbauer increased in 2008 at the High School Short meadow Eisenstadt the Externistenreifeprüfung maturation from. From 2007 to 2015 he was branch manager or department manager in various textile trading companies, and since 2015 he has been an entrepreneur in the textile retail sector. From 2016 to 2017 he was press officer for the freedom economy , since 2017 he has been a speaker in the town hall club of the FPÖ Vienna.

Leo Kohlbauer is a member of the federal board and the Vienna regional board of the Ring of Freedom Youth (RFJ). Since 2014 he has been the managing district party chairman of the FPÖ in Vienna- Mariahilf , where he was club chairman of the FPÖ district council group from 2015 to 2017 and, as a district council member, was a member of the local council . On November 20, 2017, he was sworn in as a member of the Vienna State Parliament and City Council in the 20th electoral term . He succeeded Maximilian Krauss , who moved to the National Council .

In 2020 he succeeded Harald Vilimsky as FPÖ district chairman in Vienna-Mariahilf. In the state parliament and municipal council elections in Vienna 2020 , he is running for tenth place on the FPÖ state list.
