Leonard Ceglarski
Leonard Stanley Ceglarski (born June 27, 1926 in East Walpole , Massachusetts - † December 16, 2017 ) was an American ice hockey player and coach .
Career
Leonard Ceglarski attended Boston College , for which he played ice hockey and baseball while studying . Between 1958 and 1970 he was active as a coach for Clarkson University from ECAC Hockey . From 1972 to 1992 he was in charge of the Boston College team in ECAC Hockey and Hockey East . Because of his contributions to ice hockey in the United States, he received the 1991 Lester Patrick Trophy . A year later he was honored with induction into the United States Hockey Hall of Fame . The Len Ceglarski Award is named after him, which is given annually to the player of the Collegeliga Hockey East with the most exemplary behavior on and off the ice.
International
For the USA Ceglarski took part in the Winter Olympics in Oslo in 1952 , where he and his team won the silver medal.
