Leonard Cernko

Leonard Cernko (born October 26, 1979 in Salzburg ) is an Austrian chef.

Life

Leonard Cernko is the son of the bank manager Willibald Cernko . The family moved to Straß in the Straßertal valley in 1986 . From 1995 to 1999 he did an apprenticeship with Toni Mörwald in Feuersbrunn and continued to work there for two years. From 2001 to 2003 he went to the “Korso” in Vienna. From 2003 to 2004 he cooked for Heinz Winkler in the Heinz Winkler residence in Aschau .

In 2004 he became head chef of the Mörwald restaurant in the Kremser Kloster Und and in 2005 was awarded 17 points by Gault Millau Austria as “Chef of the Year 2006”. In 2011 he moved to the Hotel Adlon as head chef ,

In 2017 he became Hotel Manager of the Ritz-Carlton in Moscow .
