Leonardo Ferreira da Silva (born July 19, 1980 in Alagoinhas ) is a former Brazilian soccer player .

Career

Léo began his career with Corinthians Alagoano. His first post abroad was in Poland in 2003 at GKS Katowice . He joined Al Shabab in the United Arab Emirates in 2004 via Brasiliense FC in his home country . After returning home, he played for CA Bragantino and Gremio Esportivo Jaciara. In 2006 he moved to SCR Altach , where he played strongly in the first year and was second on the Austrian top scorer list for a long time. In 2008 he went to Norway to join Ham-Kam . In January 2009 he returned to Austria and signed a contract with the Austrian second division club SV Grödig , which he left in the summer after relegation.

After positions in South China AA Hong Kong , Yangon United in Myanmar , Smouha SC in Egypt , EC Avenida in Brazil, FC Balzers in Liechtenstein , Leo was most recently under contract with the Austrian club SC Göfis in 2017 .
