Leonhard Wolf

Leonhard Wolf (born June 23, 1897 in Fürth ; † 1983 ) was CEO of Bayernwerk AG.

Life

After attending secondary school in Nuremberg, he studied mechanical engineering at the TH Munich and economics at the University of Erlangen .

In 1922 he started as an engineer building the Walchensee power plant and then took on a managerial position at Bayernwerk. During the time of National Socialism, Leonhard Wolf, who had Jewish ancestors, was shielded by board member Adolf Schmolz. From 1945 he also held the post of regional load distributor for Bavaria. From 1955 he was also on the supervisory board of the merged Isar-Amperwerke .
