Leonie Ebert (born October 4, 1999 ) is a German foil fencer and four-time German champion .

Life

After starting her fencing career in the fencing department of the TG Würzburg in 2008, Ebert moved to the Tauberbischofsheim Fecht Club in 2012 .

She is currently a sports soldier in the rank of corporal in the sports promotion group of the Bundeswehr in Mainz.

Career

In 2017 Ebert was German runner-up in women's florets. In the final at the Tauberbischofsheim Olympic base, she narrowly lost to her club mate Anne Sauer . With the team Ebert was able to secure the German championship with the foil team in the same year. In 2018 Ebert again achieved the silver medal in the individual and the gold medal with the team.

After a club change to Future Fencing Werbach , Ebert won the gold medal in the foil singles and with the foil team at the German Fencing Championships 2019 .
