Leonie Parusel (born October 8, 1983 in Lübeck ) is a German actress .

biography

Parusel grew up with two siblings in Hesse and Rhineland-Palatinate . During school she took part in theater performances and danced, sang and played in the musical group. With a leading role in Dance of the Vampires came the desire to become an actress. After graduating from high school, Parusel studied acting at the Academy for Performing Arts in Bavaria .

In 2008 Leonie Parusel starred in the short films Vagabund , Kim and Moment and in 2009 she had a supporting role in the feature film Method alongside Birol Ünel , Erdal Yıldız and Oktay Özdemir . In 2011 she worked for the feature film The weak king . She also appeared in Christmas in Huntsville and in Jeans vs Blouse .

In 2011 Leonie Parusel took part in the short film Christmas in Huntsville for the Zebra Poetry Film Festival in the leading reading role.

In 2012 she showed her comedic talent in the web spin-off Düses Videoblog and also worked in the movies The world in a day by US director Tracy Pellegrino, again for the Zebra Poetry Film Festival in the lead role Laura in the film Syrinx , as well as in the short film The Savior together with Christoph Bach . The latter project, a film by Charlotte Roustang made in cooperation with ARTE, premiered at the Hof Film Festival in 2014.

In 2013 Parusel continued the collaboration with Tracy and Mark Pellegrino on the episode film The world in a day .

Parusel lives in Berlin.
