Leslie Marie Osborne (born May 27, 1983 in Milwaukee , Wisconsin ) is a former American soccer player who was last under contract with the Chicago Red Stars in the National Women's Soccer League in the 2013 season.

Before and after studying at Santa Clara University , Osborne played for the second-rate teams Chicago Cobras and California Storm in the W-League and WPSL, respectively . She signed her first professional contract for the 2009 season , which she completed with FC Gold Pride in the WPS . The following two years Osborne played for the WPS franchise of the Boston Breakers , to which she remained loyal even after the dissolution of the WPS and for which she ran into the WPSL Elite in 2012 .

In early 2013, Osborne joined the Red Stars' newly formed NWSL franchise. She made her league debut on April 14, 2013 against Seattle Reign FC , her only goal in the NWSL she scored on June 19 against Western New York Flash . A few weeks before the start of the 2014 season , she announced her retirement from professional sport.

National team

On January 30, 2004, Osborne made her international debut for the US senior team . At the 2007 World Cup she won the bronze medal with the USA.

As a trainer

Osborne worked as an assistant coach for the Santa Clara Broncos Women Soccer Team from 2009 to 2012.
