Lessowo [ ˈlɛsovo ] ( Bulgarian Лесово ) is a village in southeastern Bulgaria in the Yambol administrative district ( Oblast ) , in the Elkhovo municipality (Елхово).
Lessowo is a border town on the Bulgarian-Turkish border. The village is located 26 km from Elchowo , 99 km from Sliven and about 30 km from the Turkish city of Edirne (Bulgarian Одрин - Odrin). When the weather is clear you can see Edirne in the distance with the naked eye - the Sultan Selim Mosque ( Selimiye Mosque ) and the dome of the Bulgarian church "Sweti Georgi" (St. Georgius).
The Tundscha River flows past the edge of the village.
Next to the village is the Lessowo border crossing .
