Leutersbach and its district of Kalthausen have been part of the town of Kirchberg since July 1, 1996 .

Geographical location

Leutersbach is located in a side valley of the Rödelbach between Kirchberg and Giegengrün . The Kalthausen settlement is located on a hill on the road from Kirchberg to Lauterhofen . Both places are located in the Kirchberg granite massif .

history

The Waldhufendorf Leutersbach was founded like the other places in the Kirchberg region in the 13th century and belonged to the Wiesenburg office from 1764 to 1843 and then to the Kirchberg office. In 1856 Leutersbach came to the Kirchberg court office and in 1875 to the Zwickau administrative authority , whose successor is the Zwickau district . Kalthausen probably came into being between the 16th and 18th centuries. In 1972 Giegengrün was incorporated. However, the place was umgemeindet in 1996 with the incorporation of Leutersbach to Kirchberg to Hartmannsdorf near Kirchberg .
