The Liśnica [liɕˈɲit͡sa] (German name Leitznitz ) is a small river in Poland that flows through the western district of Białogard (Belgard) in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship .
The Liśnica rises south of Nosibądy (Naseband) in the Szczecinek (Neustettin) district in the Dramburger Lake District (Polish: Pojezierze Drawskie).
At its distance of 32 kilometers, the river passes through the places Kikowo (Kieckow) , Krosinko (small Krössin) , Borzysław (Burzlaff) , Podborsko (Kiefheide) , Modrolas (Mandelatz) Dobrowo (lower / upper Dubberow) and Żytelkowo (Siedkow) before it also flows into the Persante (Parsęta) in the district town of Białogard (Belgard) a few meters after the Mogilica (Muglitz) . (The former German residents also called their city "Dreiflüssestadt".)
A tributary to the Liśnica is the Leszczynka (Hasselbach) , which flows in near Borzysław.
In the period before 1945 the Leitznitz supplied numerous mills with water power. From Borzysław the Liśnica is now a suitable route for canoeing.
