Li Jian ( Chinese  李健 , Pinyin Lǐ Jiàn ; born July 19, 1989 ) is a former Chinese ice hockey player who was last under contract with China Dragon in the Asia League Ice Hockey until 2013 .

Career

Li Jian began his career as an ice hockey player in the junior division of the Harbin ice hockey team. In 2009 he moved to China Dragon , the only Chinese professional team, for whom he made his debut in the international Asia League Ice Hockey in the 2009/10 season . After four years in the Asia League, in which he could never reach the playoffs with his team, he ended his career in 2013.

International

For China , Li Jian took part in the 2007 U18 World Championship and the U20 World Championship in Division III. In 2009 he was on the ice at the U20 World Cup in Division II.

In the senior division, the defender was part of China's squad at the Division II World Championships in 2010 , 2011 and 2012 .
