The Li Jiang or Li River ( Chinese  漓江 , Pinyin Lí Jiāng ) is a 437 km long river in the autonomous region of Guangxi of Zhuang in the People's Republic of China .

It rises in the Mao'er Mountains in Xing'an County and flows through Guilin and Yangshuo before flowing into the Gui Jiang , a tributary of the West River . The river is particularly famous for its landscape. It flows through the Karst landscape near Guilin, which is the epitome of a beautiful landscape in China.

The Magic Canal has been connecting since the 3rd century BC. In terms of shipping technology, the Li with the Xiang Jiang , a tributary of the Yangtze River .
