Li Jinyuan

Li Jinyuan ( Chinese  李金 元 ; * 1958 in Cangzhou , Hebei Province ) is a Chinese entrepreneur and the founder of the Tiens Group . According to the Shanghai business magazine Hurun Report , he is ranked 36th, and according to other sources ranked 24th among the fifty richest people in the People's Republic of China . His net worth is estimated at $ 2 billion.

Life

As a twenty-year-old, Li had enthusiastically joined the labor brigade at an oil field . In the mid-1990s, he founded the Tiens company in Tianjin , which has since grown into a multinational corporation and is one of the most successful in the PRC as a result of the national economic boom. Ninety percent of Tiens has belonged to Li since it was founded. During the founding period, Li almost failed: he got into debt and attempted suicide in an ice-covered pond. He even had to sell his private car to pay the workers' outstanding wages.

Li Jinyuan is considered philanthropic and particularly charitable. He is the founder and namesake of the Li Jinyuan Fund. On the day it was founded, he donated the equivalent of three million euros for the disabled. In total, he donated over US $ 30 million to charity over the past few years . Li says he supports the views of Confucius , Karl Marx , Mao Zedong , Deng Xiaoping, and today's leadership of the CCP . In addition to his work as an entrepreneur, he lectures on the resolutions of the 17th Party Congress .
