Liliana Matthew

Kristina Liliana Matthäus (born December 11, 1987 , in Kiev as Kristina Liliana Čoudinova ) is a Ukrainian - German model . She gained fame through her marriage to ex-soccer player Lothar Matthäus . Since the separation, she has also called herself Liliana Nova , which is the abbreviation of her maiden name.

Life

Her father is the ice hockey player Sergejs Čudinovs . Because he moved to EV Ravensburg in 1992 , the family moved to Germany .

When she was 14 she won her first photo modeling competition.

In 2007 the then high school student got to know Lothar Matthäus , which caused considerable coverage in the rainbow press. The couple married in Las Vegas on January 1, 2009 , and divorced on February 2, 2011.

Matthäus was under contract with the Louisa Models agency . However, this was ended by the agency in August 2010. After separating from Lothar Matthäus, she moved to New York and works as a model there. In September 2013, she performed at New York Fashion Week . In March 2015, she moved from New York to Los Angeles to attend Lee Strasberg Acting School. In May 2015, she secured her first film role in a remake of the horror film Blood Feast .

Liliana Matthäus took part in the fourth season of Let's Dance in 2011 with the professional dancer Massimo Sinato and reached fourth place there. In the same year, she was looking for young models in the series Liliana's Model School ; the episodes were broadcast as part of the RTL program Punkt 12 .
