Linda Sini

Linda Sini (actually Ermelinda Siniscalchi di Venosa , born February 3, 1926 in Boccioleto , † February 5, 1999 in Rome ) was an Italian actress .

Life

Sini, a "Countess di Venosa ", graduated in literature and philosophy ; then she moved to Rome , where she started out as a stage actress. In 1950 she made her first film, Sigillo rosso , which the tall, slim and good-looking Sini had nearly 90 films followed, often as a secretary, sister or later as a mother or resolute lady. For these mostly very commercial works, she also used the pseudonyms Lynn Shayne and Virginia Field .

She was seen in the theater from 1953 at the Teatro Stabile di Palermo , where she a. a. starred in musical comedies with Renato Rascel ; as early as 1960 she took up a television offer for the first time. Her appearances became less frequent in the late 1970s; In 1986 she withdrew completely into private life.
