Work from inside

Linde Hydraulics is an international manufacturer of hydraulic drive systems with headquarters in Aschaffenburg .

history

In 1904, Hugo Güldner , Carl von Linde and Georg von Krauss founded Güldner-Motoren-Gesellschaft mbH, from which Linde Hydraulics emerged a few decades later. In 1933, the production of the first small diesel engines began, which eventually developed by 1938 through gas engines and generators, aircraft and plow engines and diesel engines to the manufacture of tractors. In 1956, the first hydrostatically driven transport vehicle was manufactured in Aschaffenburg , called the Hydrocar. In 1958 Linde Hydraulics became a separate division of Linde Material Handling and the first forklift truck with hydrostatic transmission was built. 1984 Linde Hydraulics introduced load-sensing valve technology. Ten years later, the company launched axial piston pumps and motors with a swivel angle of 21 °. On August 1, 2006, the company and Linde Material Handling were spun off from Linde AG into the newly founded Kion Group .

In 2010, Linde Hydraulics and Eaton formed a global strategic sales and service alliance. At the end of 2012, the Chinese state-owned company Weichai Power bought a stake in the Kion Group and received a majority stake of 70 percent in its hydraulics business, which on January 1, 2013 from Linde Material Handling into the legally independent Linde Hydraulics GmbH & Co. KG was outsourced. In 2014, Linde Hydraulics and PMP Industries formed an international strategic alliance.

In 2015 Linde Hydraulics opened a plant in China , Weifang . The new plant is operated by Linde Hydraulics (China) Co., Ltd. This is a joint venture between Linde Hydraulics GmbH & Co. KG (51%) and Weichai Power Co., Ltd. (49%).

In 2016, Linde Hydraulics opened the new main plant in Aschaffenburg , which consists of a production and assembly hall of around 22,000 m² and an expandable administration complex.

A new Linde Hydraulics location in Rock Hill, South Carolina, USA followed in 2018.
