The District of Lens-Nord-Est was 2015 a French canton in the Arrondissement Lens , in Pas-de-Calais and the region Nord-Pas-de-Calais . Its main town was Lens . Marie-Paule Ledent ( PS ) was the last representative in the General Council of the Département from 2004 to 2015 . The canton of Lens-Nord-Est was on average 33 meters above sea level , between 21 meters in Annay-sous-Lens and 71 meters in Lens .
