The Canton Cambrin was 2015 a French canton in the Arrondissement of Béthune , in the Pas-de-Calais and the region Nord-Pas-de-Calais ; its main town was Cambrin . Odette Duriez ( PS ) was the last representative in the General Council of the Département from 2004 to 2015 .
The canton Cambrin was 52.88 km² and had (1999) 19,269 inhabitants, which corresponded to a population density of 364 inhabitants per km². It was on average 25 meters above sea level, between 16 meters in Richebourg and 50 meters in Vermelles .
