Cambrin is a French commune with 1,244 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the Pas-de-Calais in the region of Hauts-de-France ; it belongs to the arrondissement of Béthune and the canton of Douvrin (until 2015: canton of Cambrin ).
geography
Cambrin is about seven kilometers east-southeast of the city center of Béthune . Cambrin is surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Cuinchy in the north and east, Vermelles in the southeast, Noyelles-lès-Vermelles in the south and Annequin in the west.
