La Comté is a French commune with a population of 935 (as at 1st January 2017) in the Pas-de-Calais in the region of Hauts-de-France ; it belongs to the Arrondissement Béthune (until 2017: Arrondissement Arras ) and the canton Bruay-la-Buissière (until 2015: Canton Aubigny-en-Artois ). The inhabitants are called Comtois .

La Comté is located about 15 kilometers south-southwest of the city center of Béthunes am Lawe . La Comté is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Beugin in the north and north-east, Rebreuve-Ranchicourt in the east, Frévillers in the south-east, Magnicourt-en-Comte in the south, Bajus in the west and south-west, Diéval in the west and north-west and Ourton in the north-west.
