Verquin is a French municipality with 3452 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Pas-de-Calais in the region of Hauts-de-France . Verquin belongs to the Arrondissement of Béthune and the canton of Beuvry (until 2015: Canton of Béthune-Sud ) and is a member of the Béthune-Bruay, Artois-Lys Romane community association .

Verquin is a banlieue in the south of Béthune . Verquin is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Béthune in the north, Verquigneul in the east, Nœux-les-Mines in the south and Vaudricourt in the west. The A 26 (E 15) leads through Verquin .
