The Canton Bethune-Sud was 2015 a French canton in the Arrondissement of Béthune , in the Pas-de-Calais and the region Nord-Pas-de-Calais ; its main town was Béthune . Alain Delannoy ( PS ) was the last representative in the General Council of the Département from 1998 to 2015 . The canton of Béthune-Sud was on average 34 meters above sea level , between 18 meters in Béthune and 100 meters in Allouagne .
