The canton of Norrent-Fontes was a French canton in the arrondissement Béthune , in the department of Pas-de-Calais and in the region of Nord-Pas-de-Calais until 2015 ; its main town was Norrent-Fontes . The last representative in the General Council of the Département was Jacques Napieraj ( PS ) from 2008 to 2015 . The canton of Norrent-Fontes was 90.98 km² and had 19,387 inhabitants ( as of 1999 ), which corresponded to a population density of around 213 inhabitants per km².
