Quernes is about 21 kilometers west-northwest of Béthune . Quernes is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Witternesse in the north and west, Lambres in the north-east, Mazinghem in the east, Rombly in the south-east, Linghem in the south and Liettres in the west and south-west.
