Fouquereuil is a French commune with 1,570 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Pas-de-Calais in the region of Hauts-de-France . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Béthune and the canton of Nœux-les-Mines (until 2015: Canton of Béthune-Sud ) and is a member of the Béthune-Bruay community of Artois-Lys Romane .

geography

Fouquereuil is about three kilometers west-southwest of Béthune . Fouquereuil is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Annezin in the north and northeast, Fouquières-lès-Béthune in the east and southeast, Gosnay in the south and southwest and Labeuvrière in the west.

The Autoroute A26 runs along the southwestern edge of the municipality.
