Fouquières-lès-Béthune is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Fouquereuil in the north and northwest, Béthune in the east and northeast, Vaudricourt in the south, Hesdigneul-lès-Béthune in the southwest and Gosnay in the west.
The A26 autoroute runs through the municipality.
