geography
Calonne-sur-la-Lys is about ten kilometers north-north-west of Béthune . The Leie (French: Lys ), into which the Clarence flows here, limits the community in the north. Calonne-sur-la-Lys is surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Merville in the north, Lestrem in the east, Hinges in the south and south-east, Mont-Bernanchon in the south, Robecq in the south-west and Saint-Floris in the west.
The Merville-Calonne Airport is located east of the village.
