Lindthal is a district of Massen-Niederlausitz and is located in the south of Brandenburg in the Elbe-Elster district .

The place is about six kilometers northeast of Finsterwalde . The hamlets of Erika and Rehain belong to Lindthal . Lindthal is located on the Kleine Elster .

Big events are the Easter bonfire and the annual village festival. The Lindthaler voluntary fire brigade is particularly successful in fire fighting competitions and was therefore awarded the Silver Elster in 2014. The Lindthal youth club organizes parties, such as the annual Christmas party. The premises of the youth club consist of two construction containers, which are located at the playground .

There is an atonement cross in the forest that commemorates a murder in 1904. There is also a legend about it .

A 17 km long railway line runs from Lindthal to Altdöbern .
