Line Cecilie Verndal (born March 23, 1972 in Oslo , Norway ) is a Norwegian actress .
Life
Line Verndal successfully completed her acting studies at Statens teaterhøgskole in 1995 . She then worked for several years as an actress at various theaters, including the Oslo Nye Teater , Det Norske Teatret and Den Nationale Scene . At the same time, she began to work for Norwegian film and has since appeared in productions such as Dina - Meine Geschichte and Kim und die Wolfe . She had her greatest success in 2010 with the drama Limbo, directed by Maria Sødahl . Her portrayal of Sonia, who emigrates with her family to Trinidad and then loses her footing due to her husband's affair, was honored in 2011 with an award from the Norwegian film award Amanda for best actress .
