The Lingtren is a six-thousander on the border between the Khumbu region of Nepal and Tibet west of Mount Everest .

It lies in continuation of the Everest west ridge between Khumbutse ( 6636  m ) and Pumori ( 7161  m ).

The Lingtren was first climbed in 1935 by Eric Shipton and Dan Bryant from the Tibetan side.
